Alexander McQueen + Star Wars = LOVE

Some people saw Puritan in Alexander McQueen’s PreFall 2013 collection.  Others, like us, have spent far too much time analyzing Padme and Leia’s costumes from the films and instantly saw Star Wars.  (What?  Some people looked for plot spoilers for the Prequels.  We obsessively studied Padme’s costumes.  It’s a thing.)

So freaking out that JJ Abrams is going to direct Star Wars 7.  I loved how he did the Star Trek reboot. I can’t wait to see what he does with Star Wars.

J.J. Abrams - Our New Hope? 

The news comes from The Wrap, where they’re citing “an individual with knowledge of the production” and offer no further details. Deadline has chimed in with their own vague source, claiming “it’s a done deal with J.J.” And The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit has made it three, tweeting that his sources have confirmed the news as well, although “negotiations quite down the road,” which will make it quite a while before the news is suer-duper official.
